  • NEW TEACHERS/STUDENTS
We want to welcome all our new dancers and teachers to the studio. Feel free to look at the website and read all about the teachers! We also welcome back our old dancers and teachers!
  • ONLINE REGISTRATION
Every dancer, whether returning or new, is required to complete new registration forms each year. A registration fee of $40.00 must be submitted annually. You can pay this fee online by clicking on the Parent Portal or in person at the dance studio. If you have multiple children registering, the second child’s fee is $30, and the third child’s fee is $20. Please ensure that a current credit card is kept on file.
  • TUITION & PAYMENTS
A current credit card must be on file for our Automatic Payment Plan. We’ve simplified the process for paying dance tuition, which will be automatically deducted from your credit card or bank account on the 1st of each month. Please note that auto pay is exclusively for dance tuition; other expenses like costumes and tickets need to be settled separately. If a card declines, a $10 fee will apply. The dance season runs from September 9th to the June recital, encompassing all studio closures, and includes at least 32 lessons. Tuition is calculated for a 10-month dance year and will not be adjusted for missed classes, although you can make up missed lessons in another available class within the same month. No refunds will be issued for missed classes, and tuition remains unchanged even if we switch to Zoom. For late payments, it's essential to submit your payment immediately when using the monthly installment option; otherwise, a $25 late fee will be charged if payment is not received by the 15th. Please note that we do not accept American Express, and a 3.5% convenience fee will apply to credit card payments for costumes, tickets, and competition fees, but this does not affect monthly auto payments. If you choose to pay your yearly tuition bill in cash, you can enjoy a $50 discount, and military families are eligible for a 10% discount.
  • CLASS LEVEL & PLACEMENT
Class placement at Elite Dance Studio is determined with careful consideration for your child's best interests. We strive to ensure that each student is placed in a class that challenges them appropriately without causing stress. Placement is based on various factors, including skill level, coordination, musicality, focus, and maturity in handling feedback. It's essential to recognize that dance levels differ from school grades, and students may take time to progress to the next level. Our goal as instructors is to keep classes engaging and enjoyable, avoiding both boredom and overwhelm. If you're uncertain about which class is right for your child, we're here to assist you!
  • COSTUME ORDERS/EXCHANGES
Every class requires a costume unless specified otherwise in the schedule. Recital costumes must be paid for by early November and are non-refundable after February 1. We will only place orders for costumes once full payment is received. Students will be measured for their costumes during class, and they will be distributed as they arrive, typically between March and April. If a costume doesn't fit, we can exchange it at no charge within a week of receipt, provided it is returned in its original packaging. After two weeks, additional shipping or handling fees may apply, and availability could be limited.
  • ARRIVAL TO CLASS & LATE TO CLASS
Students are welcome to arrive five minutes before class starts to get ready. It's important to enter the studio quietly and respectfully, as other classes are usually in progress. Cubbies are available in the waiting area, and only labeled water bottles and dance shoes are permitted in the dance rooms; food is not allowed. Everyone must take off their street shoes before stepping onto the dance studio floor, and cell phones should be left outside during class. 2. If students arrive late, they should wait at the entrance until the music stops before entering quickly. The warm-up period at the start of class is crucial, and missing it increases the risk of injury. Students who are consistently late and miss the warm-up may not be able to join the class for that session.
